Job Description:
If you’re a positive, enthusiastic, hard-working, front-desk receptionist with experience using a Windows-based program and excellent customer service and phone skills, we want to hear from you!
We’re looking for a receptionist (girls/boys) with an outgoing personality to work at our new 4* Hotel which is located in the west part of the city, on a full-time basis.

The front desk reception should have the ability to deal with different classes of people since she/he is the face of an organization.
Work Environment
Should have flair for customer service.
The front desk executive may not have to take severe stress, but remain active throughout the day. The quality of tolerance should allow the front desk receptionist to carry on with the activities or duties in an effective manner.

Qualifications:
The front desk receptionist should possess a high school diploma;
Knowledge about the standard norms of customer service;
Knowledge of clerical process;

Should have pleasing voice and personality;
Reasonably good looking with a sense of appropriate dressing;
Excellent communication skills are required in order to properly communicate with clients in English or Romanian depending on case.

Hours
You would usually work shifts, which could include evenings, nights, weekends and public holidays.

Requirements:
• English - medium level;
• Previous work experience in a client-oriented environment, e.g. reception/ secretary;
• Good customer service skills;
• Communication skills;
• Computer skills (ability to use email - Outlook, Word, Internet, Excel);
• Proven organization skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests of the hotel;
- Verify customers' credit, and establish how the customer will pay for the accommodation;
- Assures that each guest is assigned the type of room requested and the correct rate is charged;
- Issue correct keys to the guest , perform the checks-out at end of stay. Ascertain guest satisfaction, collects keys, posts late charges and presents bill to guest;
- Settle bill accurately through credit card or cash transaction;
- Contact housekeeping or maintenance staff when guests report problems;
- Make and confirm reservations;
- Issue room keys and report instructions to housekeeping or maintenance staff;
- Keep records of room availability and guests' accounts, manually or using computers;
- Perform bookkeeping activities, such as balancing accounts and conducting nightly audits;
- Post charges, such those for rooms,minibar, food, liquor, or telephone calls, to ledgers manually or by using computers;
- Compute bills, collect payments, and make changes for guests;
- Record guest comments or complaints, referring customers to managers as necessary;
- Review accounts and charges with guests during the check out process;
- Transmit and receive messages, e-mails, using telephones or e-mail;
- Advise housekeeping staff when rooms have been vacated and are ready for cleaning;
- Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services, guest registration, and travel directions, or make recommendations regarding shopping, dining, or entertainment;
- Serve and prepare (when is necessary) for basic food service - restaurant, such as setting up continental breakfast or coffee and tea supplies;
- Deposit guests' valuables in hotel safes or safe-deposit boxes;
- Date-stamp, sort, and rack incoming mail and messages;
- Arrange tours, taxis, or restaurant reservations for customers;
- Respond to a wide variety of guest requests by accurately assessing the guests needs and requests and then adding personal recommendations and touches to achieve maximum customer satisfaction;
- Provide accurate sources of lead flow documentation and distribution;
- Performs other duties or special projects as assigned;
- Have knowledge of the business status of the organizations for which he/she is rendering the services.
