Act as a member of the Service Security team to:
- Provide assurance that IT infrastructure comply with published IT Security Policy,
- To maintain and configure firewall rules.
- Work with LBG colleagues and 3rd parties to avoid the introduction of new vulnerabilities to LBG through advice, guidance and mitigating actions
-Availability to travel abroad on project-based assignments (6-12 months according to project specifications)
- Detailed understanding of own area of expertise/environment and associated supported business areas. The jobholder will generally have a good working knowledge of at least one of the other platforms supported by Service Security :
- Large Checkpoint and Nokia based firewall infrastructures
- Large distributed networks including MPLS and VPN infrastructures
- NIDS and HIDS systems
- A working knowledge of the following.
- Cisco CSM
- Cisco CS MARS
- Cisco FWSM
- TCP/IP
- Firewall-1
-Nokia IPSO
- Provider-1
-Provide expert technical input to multiple projects at any one time.
- Responsible for decisions affecting all areas of the business and can apply selected tools methods and procedures from a range of options and alternatives.
- Will be able to take responsibility for most aspects of small to medium project work with little or no supervision.
- Knowledge of ITIL standards at Foundation level
- At least 4 years of relevant experience in the above mentioned field
- Exposure to banking security domain will be a plus
