Financial Manager – Bucharest
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the monthly, quarterly and annual closings, company group or statutory reporting;
• Support day to day accounting and reconciliations;
• Cost planning and control;
• Projections, Budget planning, control and follow-up;
• Responsible for contact with auditors and ensure compliance in regulated entities;
• Supervision and control of the mandate structure in the company;
• Cash Management;
• Measure and control business risk through an effective financial risk management framework;
• Responsible for development of administrative processes linked to the finance department and ensure the companies funding for all markets;
• Coordinate the future IT systems development;
• Development and follow-up of financial policies and processes supporting both the financing and insurance business;
• Co-ordinate the development of the business unit´s accounting/financial systems in accordance with changes in rules and guidelines for accounting and group reporting as well as tax, legal and central bank matters.
Requirements:
• University degree in Accounting/Economics or another related area;
• 5+ years of practical managerial experience in finance preferably at international companies;
• Languages: Romanian– fluent speech, fluent writing. English: at least good command both spoken and written;
• Ability and willingness to do everything from basic work to qualified tasks, accurate;
• Work independently within a given framework;
• Co-operative and communicative;
• Capable of working under time pressure and meet deadlines;
• Positive to the changes;
• Advanced user of PC (Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook). Strong MS Excel is a must.
