As the Financial Manager you will manage and develop the finance team and ensure that financial systems and business controls are in place to suit our business.
The main purpose of the job is:
-Developing the dynamics of the Finance team to establish a department that services the Management team and business in a consistent and coherent way
-Interrogate the monthly forecast submissions for key variances and ensure that issues are fully explored
-Provide early warnings for issues and identify opportunities to offset them.
Qualifications
-Educated to degree level (or relevant experience)
Essential
-providing and interpreting financial information;
-business modelling and forecasting;
-monitoring performance and efficiency;
-analysing change and conducting risk assessment;
-participating in strategic planning;
-formulating long-term business plans;
-researching and reporting on factors influencing business performance;
-pricing and competitor analysis;
-developing complex finance models;
-assessing the financial implications of new or existing ventures;
-preparing accounts;
-overseeing budgetary control;
-monitoring cash flow;
-liaising with other members of the team and across the business;
-supervising other staff.
Desirable
-Experience of working within the Casino Industry
