Responsibility
The job holder is responsible for the following:

• The accounting of the subsidiary is done by considering the principles of adequate and orderly book keeping, legal provisions and the regulations of headquarters and the company from economic view points;

• The processes of order handling are organized in an optimum way by considering costs and service;

• The cash and foreign currency management is designed in such a way that the ability to meet financial obligations is always given and foreign currency and interest losses are minimized;

• Salaries, business trips and expenses are settled in accordance with legal provisions and the regulations of the company;

• Costs, efficiency and lawfulness are regularly controlled;

• The necessary vouchers and documents are duly filed in accordance with applicable standards;

• The annual financial statement of the company is presented correctly and in due time in accordance with the legal provisions and the consolidation standards of the group.


Requirements
Know-how:

- good know-how of business administration, preferably on-the-job training with balance sheet accounting qualification

- several years of experience in a comparable position in an international company, if possible with German background;

- detailed know-how in the area of financing, accounting and order handling

- good practical and theoretical accounting know-how

- know-how of international trade, especially import handling and cash and foreign currency management

- know-how of international accounting regulations (IAS, GAAP) and consolidation standards

- business-fluent English knowledge

- practical experiences of creating, using and optimising a standard ERP system of office computers
