Our client is a major player in the Romanian Oil & Gas industry that offers an excellent career chance for the following position: Team Leader Facility – Field Redevelopment Project

I. Job Scope
The Team Leader Facility is the liaison of project team with the engineering & detail design contractors. She/ he identify the needs for technical support from disciplines and issue the requirements, including the development of needed company’s regulation. Requests decision of higher Technical Authority, in case of unsolved technical disputes and allocates the human resources to provide technical support for E&P projects and divisions.

This position and its respective tasks are related to the FRD project and to its fulfillment.

II. Main Accountabilities
Planning and forecasting:
Proposes company philosophies standards and procedures for engineering departments
Ensures application and quality of philosophies standards and procedures within project activities
Achieves planning activities for engineering activities
Ensures the support of technical experts to projects, within the allocated team members, or issuing additional requests for staffing
Proposes and coordinates the audit activities for projects and sites


Industry knowledge:
Knowledge of possible applications for Engineering
Knowledge of solutions regarding Engineering in a broad sense, involving overall view and all disciplines
Continuously keeps updated on developments and new technologies in the oil & gas industry

Organization:
Leads Facility Team
Conducts the harmonizing and interdisciplinary technical activities
Supervises the project contribution and reporting
Assesses the personal contribution and load
Identifies the hardware and software needs of the engineering staff

Coordination:
Coordinates the work load for the disciplines and address to SPOCs specific requirements
Liaises the engineering activities with project leaders & managers
Manages engineering contracts and contractors
Requests TA's decision for the technical matters and implements it in projects
Identifies and proposes the procurement of technical documents
Coordinates engineering team members regarding data management


CERINTE

Job requirements:
University degree in Mechanical / Chemical / Petroleum / Electrical Engineering or similar
Over 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in petroleum / oil & gas industry
Good experience and knowledge of Best Practices in Facility Engineering
Experience in field operations
Understanding from Corporate strategy to Field management
Understanding of planning, economics and controlling (Opex, Capex, investment decisions)
Team-leader skills and experience in managing technical groups
Communication and negotiation skills as well as managerial experience
Proven track record (motivation, responsibility, people management, potential for leadership etc.)
Potential for personal development
Fluent in spoken and written English
Computer literacy
