He or she will be expected to perform following duties:
To assist the External Affairs Manager to:
¿ Shape the policy and direct the activities of the Project in all phases of external affairs, through governmental relations, media relations, NGOs and other groups of interest;
¿ Plan the Project¿s Governmental Relations and External Affairs programs;
¿ Prepare and release of information, articles and photographs about the Project to newspapers and magazines, including Project press availabilities;
¿ Managing relations with GoR officials;
¿ Draft budgets for the External Affairs/Community Relations Department;
¿ Coordinate with Community Relations and Sustainable Services teams the Project¿s message to the public;
¿ Coordinate with Project Community Relations and Sustainability teams to plan and implement local contributions and membership activities.
Plan and administer the Project¿s media and internal communications;
Manage the Project communications activities, including schedules, content, and format of Project publications;
Participate in meetings and take minutes when requested.
Coordinate with External Affairs Manager and other members of Project Management Team regarding format, content and updates to Project website. Be the Webmaster of the Autostrada Transilvania website.
Provide any other assistance that the External Manager may request to provide support for the effective management of the External Affairs and Community Relations department.
Minimum 5 years experience in public relations and communication, political science will be an advantage. University Degree is required (preferable public relations and communication, political science, sociology, law, journalism)
Computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Excellent knowledge of Romanian and English (read and write)
Good sense of organization
