-Help to identify EHS hazard, assess relevant risks and determining controls for them
-Promote awareness and understanding of EHS management with in Huawei EU team by education and training.
-Support the regional team by leading projects to deploy new processes and support tools / PPE.
-Carry on internal audits to find improvement opportunities. Perform root cause analysis with appropriate personnel and ensure that necessary corrective actions are implemented. Work with internal entities and partners for improvement.
-Analyze work processes, materials, equipment, and the work habits of employees to identifying safety risks and environmental effects. Define and maintain the metrics associated with these risks and effects
-Organize / participate in optimizing EHS management profile of business processes systems and programs. Ensure all processes and systems comply with local legal, regulations and international standards (e.g. ISO9001, ISO14000, OHSAS 18001, WEEE and RoHS, etc.)
-Bidding and review the contract items relate to EHSQ and give professional opinions
-Keep good communication with customers to understand their EHS management requirements, coordinate the audits from second and third parties, introduce them the efforts of Huawei on EHS management to establish their confidence
-A dynamic EHSQ Engineer with significant experience working within high technology environments, and preferably within the Telecommunications industry.
-Be fluent in English, some knowledge of German and Mandarin Chinese would also be considered to be an additional asset although this is not central to the role.
-A powerful communicator, have proven leadership skills and be able to demonstrate the drive needed to deliver improvement and change.
-Experienced working with large multinational organizations, you will be comfortable with in a challenging multicultural and rapidly expanding environment.
-At least a bachelor's Degree Qualified in Engineering, Environmental Management, Safety, Industrial Hygiene or Relevant Disciplines
-Have first hand experience of modern EHSQ management systems and methods relevant to both telecommunications and ideally service management.
-Be competent to identify EHS Hazard, assess relevant risks and determining controls under the local legislations.
-More than 3 years of Relevant Experience in EHSQ management, including EHSQ training, process management, audits, risk management and construction management.
-The position is a customer facing one and you should be confident in presenting in a commercial environment.
