EMEA CONSULTING INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS
Define and Implement Technical Architecture based on Business, Functional and Non Functional Requirements in line with designated client¿s requirements. To adopt the appropriate role in accordance with each individual implementation.
SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reports to a Consulting Practice Manager
- Works within a designated product or application practice area
- Works as part of a practice team
- Work towards a utilization target
- Works closely with Consulting Sales Representatives (CSRs), other Practice members, Partners and Presales
- Depending on situation may lead a team
- Providing a range of architectures that could be used to meet the designated client's requirements, with pros and cons for each architecture
- Advising the customer on the route of least risk
- Understanding and demonstrating the selected platform and how it supports the proposed solutions
- Understanding and articulating the solution plan
- Overseeing the creation of the Detailed Design
- Providing technical oversight to ensure successful implementation and commissioning
- Taking the lead in client relations, as appropriate, ensuring correct expectation setting
- Working with an account team to exploit opportunities for cross and up selling
- Acting as the technical lead/subject matter expert in the specialist practice area
- Contributing as required to the generation of proposals ensuring they reflect the capability of the practice as required
- Contributing to project planning and project management as required
- Balancing meeting the clients demands with protecting Oracle commercial interests
- Escalating client issues to the relevant contact in Oracle
- Sharing knowledge and best practice within the practice and across lines of business
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
-Translate customer requirements into deliverable products and services
- Review invitations to tender and advise in line with specialist practice area as required
- Deploy the Application Implementation Methodology (AIM) methodology, Custom Development Method or Data Warehouse
- Fast track as appropriate to:
- Generate consultancy solution
- Project plan (including resource plan)
- Quality plan
- Generate and agree the invoice points
- Create pilot.
- Represent Oracle professionally on client site
- Work alongside Partner and other third party organizations as required
- Work on customer¿s premises for extended time anywhere within the EMEA region
- Proactively maintain knowledge of current and future products/ solutions offerings for the specialist practice area
- Identify and communicate opportunities for cross and up selling
- Generate the relevant material, e.g. white papers, in order to develop and share knowledge
- Represent the specialist practice area at internal and external events as required
- Maintain own CV and skills matrix
- Operate in line with EMEA consulting policies and procedures
- Work in line with Oracle EMEA¿s processes and procedures
