• Developing applications for 8 bits PIC microcontrollers (system design, hardware design, software development and integration)
• Developing and presenting technical training to customers, FAEs, CAEs and field sales for newly developed demo boards, reference designs, application notes and application libraries.
• Work with customers to design and develop applications for Microchip 8 bit family using demo boards, reference designs, application notes or application libraries.
• Create application notes, getting started documents, and demonstration software that helps customer product development
• Degree in Electronics, Automatics or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years embedded SW and HW design experience
• Detailed project planning, setting aggressive milestones, meeting interim deliverable deadlines, tracking & reporting project progress all while working on tight deadlines is a must.
• PIC microcontroller experience (focus on PIC10, PIC12, PIC16 & PIC18)
• Mixed signal design experience needed, with a good understanding of Analog design
• Software experience with structured Embedded Assembler, C and PC based code development like C#, Visual C, Java
• Power supply and basic motor control experience will be an advantage
• English: must have good oral and written communication skills
• Willing to travel as needed within Europe to support customers

Microchip opened the R&D Center located in Bucharest in April 2006 and has been constantly expanding it.
