RESPONSABILITATI

The E-Commerce Application Administrator is responsible for the administration of all technical aspects of the Metro Cash & Carry Global E-Commerce platforms;
Installation of the application components and the patching and/or application of hotfixes required to maintain the stability of the platform;
Manage the performance and availability of the systems;
Provide support for production and pre-production environments including day to day maintenance tasks required to maintain the stability of the platform.
Performance tuning and monitoring;
Create and maintain system operation manual and procedural documentation;
Keeps professional contacts with other IT groups;


CERINTE

Degree in Computer Science or comparable qualification;
At least 2-3 years experience in the administration of applications in a professional web environment;
Good knowledge of administrating Enterprise Internet facing systems;
Good knowledge of web security and understanding of networking protocols and services like TCP/IP, HTTP/S, SSL/TLS, DNS, LDAP, Load balancing.
Good knowledge of system administration and process automation through the use of scripting technologies on Linux/Unix/Windows;
Understanding of HTML/CSS/JavaScript and basic object oriented programming concepts;
Knowledge of relational databases - MS SQL Server and Oracle;
Experience/knowledge of Hybris, Sitecore, will be a plus;
Experience with system management tools – Control-M, Nagios, would be a plus.

Good command of English
Ability to quickly become familiar with and maintain existing applications
Strong problem solving skills
Ability to accurately estimate level-of-effort based on requirements/specificationsFun and endurance to learn and manage the details of administrating our Web Applications
