- Design and development of deliverables identified through conversations with business analysts, end users and third party implementation / development groups.
- System Management (identify system bugs, trouble shoot user issues, manage routine database backups, administer new release upgrades, hot fixes/patches)·
- System Enhancements – deploy new system features or modify/customize existing ones based on operational needs·
- Respond to helpdesk request for new reports, queries, or data and system related issues and respond accordingly.
- Liaise with network administrators, systems analysts, and other software engineers to assist in resolving problems with software products or company software systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years direct experience supporting ERP application systems.
- 5+ years direct experience working with Dynamics AX 2009 and 2012.
- Experience doing complex system analysis and be able to translate business requirements into AX architecture and design.
- Demonstrated experience with client interaction and project oversight of ERP implementation.
- Working knowledge of X++
- Working knowledge of current software protocols and Internet standards.
- Working knowledge of Windows Server 2008, Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and higher, and SQL Server - Reporting Services to deliver, maintain, and enhance reports maintained within the ERP.
- Effective communication skills, focused on presentation of technical information and business process improvements.
- Project management disciplines and the ability to handle multiple projects at once with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
