Five years ago, HP launched its Direct business to deliver solutions and services directly from HP through a customizable direct relationship or via a 1st Tier, to large and enterprise customers. Since then, this business has been growing at a very rapid pace, in the revenue generated as well as the number of customers served, and competes directly with Dell.
The Direct Operation Manager (DOM) is primarily responsible for managing the operational performance of HP's customers buying through the volume direct model. This role is hosted within EMEA Direct Operations and has a cross business scope (PSG, ESG, IPG and HPS). This is a sales operation role and is positioned across field and back-end operations. It involves significant customer and sales contact.
PRIMARY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide support and consulting to the account set up team to validate non - Standard operational process.
- Transition operational processes from sales team and ensure they are Maintained across the deal life-cycle.
- Lead operational team that support your accounts and provide necessary Support for them to achieve their day-to-day tasks.
- Provide 2nd level escalation on any operational issue. Follow the escalation process.
- Conduct issue analysis and implement quick fix or ask for change.
- Build and maintain deal operation issue tracker.
- Ensure proper execution of customer forecasting process (deal planning).
- Weekly report to account team and Ops management on customer delivery Metrics and issue tracker status.
- Manage customer escalation on any operational issue.
- Prepare account review with account team and lead the operational review Section.
- Understand and follow-up operational clauses of the customer contract.
- Contribute to projects which enhance HP directs capabilities.
- Identify and drive structural changes to enhance our operational Performance.
- Mentor and support the development of new DOM's.
- Build strong relationships with sales, internal teams and other DOMs to ensure free flow of information and quick issue resolution.
- Fluent in English and German - interaction primarily with German Customers.
- Bachelors Degree, Masters Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Experience in Supply Chain, Account Management, or other Customer Facing environment.
- Project and/or Program Management preferably within an international environment.
- Willingness to travel.
- Independent of day to day management: able to work effectively with remote or infrequent reporting lines, while updating and supporting managers effectively.
