Design and Engineering of projects with the new Comfort Point Open system – a BAC net based solution including an engineering tool, library applications, a suite of different controller types and a building manager graphical front end
-Supporting the European estimators to define the best system architecture and to pick the right library applications for a certain project
-Submittal package preparation including sequences of operations, bill of materials, schematics and I/O lists
-DDC Program generation, based on Global Library Standards and customer sequence of operations.
-Data validation for consistency and quality (DDC, Data points, Graphics)
-Supporting the European field engineers during commissioning, startup and service of the projects
-Help on continuously improving the library (macros, applications, graphics) with feedback coming from the European projects
Education level and/or relevant experience(s):
-Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
-Advanced Network / PC certification (Desirable)
-Previous experience working with highly complex technical solutions
-Advanced knowledge of networking, database technology, integration protocols, and current trends in the industry.
Knowledge and skills:
-At least 5 years working in a project design and engineering capacity involved in the delivery of technology based projects
-Previous exposure to a site base, construction environment
-Excellent HVAC domain knowledge
-BACnet protocol knowledge
-Language: English verbal and written is a must, all other European languages are an advantage
