DESIGN ENGINEER FOR CONVENTIONAL RELAY INTERLOCKING
Short task description:
• Analyze and test of existing relay circuits for railway signaling systems
• Design of new interface between existing and new interlocking systems
You will be responsible for writing specifications, design and test relay based signaling equipment in house and onside. Support whole approval process.
• Design and test in following areas: o Level Crossing technique o Point Control technique o Block technique o Signal technique
• Support of safety assessment and approval process
• Specification and qualification according requirements • Design support over the whole life cycle
• Support of Manufacturing
• Support Onside activities
• Knowledge of German and international signaling systems.
• Knowledge of blocking techniques, level crossing techniques and point machine techniques of competitors (e.g. Siemens)
• Experience in the relay based circuit domain >.10 years • Experience in railway safety standards (e.g. MU, CENELEC...)
Languages:
• English (very good level - reading and writing);
• German (good level — speaking and writing).
