- Install and configure Oracle Database Server 10g on Linux servers;
- Create and optimize indexes on production servers;
- Create and optimize Maintenance Plans and Backup;
- Monitor, maintain and optimize production servers;
- Determine system requirements for the database machine for the estimated workload;
- Participate in projects within IT Department under Project Manager’s coordination.
- Minimum 2 years of previous Database Administrator experience;
- Oracle courses/certifications would be a plus;
- Knowledge of Oracle Database 10g:
- Installation;
- Configuration – according to estimated workload;
- Optimization – determine witch index or indexes are suitable for production tables.
- Good communication skills and client oriented attitude;
- Organized and detail oriented person;
- Problem solving skills, analytical mind and positive attitude;
- Ability to work in a dynamic team with stretch deadlines;
- Results oriented and focused on meeting deliverable timelines;
- Fluency in English is a must.
