DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR
Your main responsibilities will include:
both dedicated server and Azure cloud environments;
performance optimization;
configure & run different operational programs;
install & config new releases;
maintenance tasks on DB and different indexes;
back-ups;
monitoring and hot-standby;
technical quality insurance and technical release approval;
The successful candidate should have the following attributes:
advanced knowledge of MS SQLServer 2008 R2, operating, development and maintenance knowledge;
advanced knowledge of networking; understanding load balancing, virtual networks etc.
advanced knowledge about internet related architectures like DNS, IP-transit, networks;
basic programming knowledge C#, .Net, use of MS Visual Studio;
advanced knowledge of installation and configuration of Microsoft environments such as Windows 2008, Windows 2008 R2, IIS 7.0 and/or 7.5;
knowledge of Cisco ACE is a plus
