Responsabilities:
- administration of MySQL v5.1 enterprise databases in InnoDB/myISAM mode in production/QA/dev environments( including nstallation, configuration, monitoring, optimization, tuning, troubleshooting, backup, recovery and upgrades)
- designing, implementing and supporting a formal High Availability (HA) and Redundant solution, preferably based on clustering or replication
- implementing a formal backup and recovery solution with documentation.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years hands-on administrator experience in MySQL Enterprise (administration, replication, clustering), SQL script writing and debugging, application code tuning techniques.
- At least 3 years of experience as a DBA on major DBMS like MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MS Sql
- Experience in Linux and shell scripting.
- Good English language skills (verbal and written);
Advantages:
