- Fluent in English
- Strong knowledge in at least one of the following: Machine learning, data visualization, statistical modeling, data mining, or information retrieval
- Proficiency in analysis packages, programming languages (e.g. Java, C#) as well as the ability to implement, maintain, and troubleshoot big data infrastructure
- Familiar with search technologies
- Desire to learn new technologies
- Ability to effectively communicate results to engineering and management staff
