The main responsabilities of the Application Administrator are:
Operation of the prod and pp environments = responsibility for the availability of the env.
Incident handling for prod environments (technical SLS) = pre analysis + solution (if possible) or distribution to the right party
Alignment with operating
Maintenance and owner of the rerun list
AO face to the customer
Defect handling for pp environments (technical)
Active monitoring of the environments (TEC alert handling + daily TWS check and clean up)
Patch / release installation on qa, pp and p env.
Handling and execution of service requests like NSO, data loads, pp refreshes etc.
Member of the project teams to implement new functionality
requests, tests and approves new functionality for deployment, Monitoring and in general operation tools
Minimum 5 years of experience in the administration of an application on Unix / Linux in a professional environment
Very Good knowledge of Unix/Linux - shell scripting will be a plus
Good knowledge of relational databases and SQL - PL/SQL will be a plus
Excellent Analytical skills
Very good Result Orientation
Good command of English
willingness to work on call duty
Retail knowledge would be a plus
