JOB SUMMARY:
The Credit and Collection Center Manager will have overall responsibility for the success of our Credit and Collection centre in Bucharest. Managing a skilled and experienced team, the successful candidate will drive forward the business strategy to achieve operational excellence and impact business results.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

¿ Manages a team of Collection Managers supporting different geographic divisions with a large and often complex accounts receivable portfolio.
¿ Ensures that company¿s goals and objectives in credit and accounts receivable management are met in an ethical and legal manner with a minimum of risk and expense for the company.
¿ Acts as a key advisor to senior management on the development of overall policies and long-term goals of the organization.
¿ Short and long term planning which includes functional set-up, headcount and people deployment. Includes the rollout of major programmes.
¿ Establishes internal credit and collections procedures that maximize cash flow and minimize bad debt.
¿ Leverages HP financial data (ex. DSO), systems, and operational data to provide solutions that produce quality transactions in risk management and order cycle time.
¿ Develops information related to customer risk and financial performance issues.
¿ Identifies and resolves credit and collection problems that impact business profitability and risk.
¿ Develops trusting, collaborative relationships with all business functions and operates across them to ensure a full spectrum of financial information, tools, skills, and processes are fully utilized to maximize customer and shareholder value.
¿ Plans, directs, and monitors high-end operational/tactical activities of Staff.
¿ Recruits and supports development of direct staff members.


CERINTE

Mandatory requirements:
¿ Bachelor Degree with 7 years equivalent experience or Master Degree with 5 years equivalent experience;
¿ Solid knowledge and experience in business law and credit portfolio risk analysis;
¿ Previous experience as Finance Generalist/ Specialist;
¿ Previous experience in managing external customer relationships;
¿ Strong leadership skills & previous people management experience.
Would be a considerable plus:
¿ Experience in building an external professional network;
¿ Familiarity in leading Organizational Change;
¿ Previous Multiple HP Customer Segments experience;
¿ Strategic Planning knowledge and experience;
¿ Cross Company-wide and Pan Business/Function leadership experience.
Knowledge & skills helpful in the job:
¿ Knowledge and experience in Financial Accounting;
¿ Major project leadership experience;
¿ Treasury familiarity.
