Within this regions HP is selling IT Hardware and Services to Channel Partners but also direct Enterprise and Government customers.
HP CEE & MEMA Credit is organized as a virtual team of Credit Analysts and Collection Specialists located in many of the countries and a newly established Center of Expertise in Bucharest.
Job description
The Credit Analyst for CEE & MEMA will have to review, analyze and monitor specific company financial information and other external factors such as industry data, country economic and political risk to determine external customer credit worthiness.
The Credit Analyst should be responsible to support the CEE & MEMA region on the maintenance of any credit relevant data within a specific application.
The job requires the ability to prepare credit analysis write-ups for the assigned cases as well as the ability to take over a defined credit portfolio of customers for review and approval of credit limits up to a certain limit.
Investigation:
It is critical for the job to have a broad knowledge of available information sources in regards to Political-, Economical-, Social-, Specific Industry- and Financial Information of the territory responsible for.
Financial / Economical Analysis:
The Credit Analyst must be an expert in analyzing and interpreting company financial information as well as country / region macro-economical information.
Systems:
The job is requiring expert knowledge using MS-Office tools, especially Excel but also excellent skills to summarize the outcome and to present to different levels of HP Management
Communication- and negotiation skills:
Well developed communication skills - able to communicate and present at any level of internal or external management hierarchy
Personality:
Must have high self confidence
Must be self starting and be able to motivate her-/him-self every day
Very high ability to work under tremendous pressure to meet fixed deadlines
Ability to organize and set right priorities is a must
Very much results driven
Ability to influence people across the whole spectrum of contacts while people do not direct report to into the function
Educational background:
Deep understanding of financial and economic terms and should have worked ideally for some time in the credit department of a bank or a comparaable job in the Industry.
Language:
Fluent English and Turkish
Knowledge in any Eastern-European Languages (Russian, Czech, Polish, Hungarian language skills would be an advantage)
