As Java Developer, you will work with a team of talented software developers and quality engineers within the Adobe Customer Experience Management Team. You will be responsible for taking specific product features through entire life cycle, from requirement analysis to delivery, meeting the reliability, performance and quality targets required in our company.
Responsibilities:
* Transform requirements into architectural and feature specs, contribute with valuable ideas to the service architecture in direct dialog with US peers
* Design and implement features, required APIs, test suites or technology according to specifications
* Collaborate with quality engineers to ensure project deliverables meet the required quality standards
* Deploy new releases and ensure production stability
* Perform research on various technologies useful for the project
* Apply customer centric thinking while designing and developing features
* Provide status and feedback to management
* Advanced skills in at least one Object Oriented language (Java, C#, C++)
* Experience writing code in Java at a familiarity level as a minimum
* Familiar with design patterns and web application architectures
* Distributed systems development work
* Experience working with databases
* Experience working with web services or other server-based APIs
* Knowledge of Java enterprise development (Spring, JPA, EJB or JSF) is a bonus
* Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly - technophile loves tinkering and is self-motivated to learn new things
* Knowledge of unit testing and build processes (Ant, Maven, Hudson or Cruise Control)
* Hands-on experience with Java web applications servers (JBoss, Tomcat, WebLogic, GlassFish or WebSphere)
* Willing to learn and apply agile development methodologies (Scrum, FDD, TDD)
* Familiarity with Web 2.0 concepts is a bonus
* B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Spoken and Written English proficiency
