Lead the commercial team and support technical/service team in the preparation of bid packages in the project team during bidding phase:
- Making response (SOC) and proposals to the terms & conditions of the customer’s contract template and other commercial requirements;
- Calculating commercial costs including but not limited to tax, insurance and transportation cost etc. and providing such cost to technical/service team;
- Formulating commercially sound terms and conditions for proposals;
- Identifying potential commercial risks and liabilities associated with the proposal;
- Risk-analyzing and suggesting constructive solutions to contract decision-making team;
- Taking part in clarification and negotiation about contractual and commercial matters related to the proposal.
Review and negotiate sales contract before signing:
- Coordinate other dept. including technical, legal, finance, supply chain, service etc. to review contractual documentations to ensure the compliance of company policy;
- Prepare contractual documentation and negotiate contractual and commercial matters with regard to the contracts and amendment.
Others:
- Provide commercial advice to subsidiary business operations including internal training;
- Share experience in bidding and/or contract negotiation process by providing quarterly case study;
Performing other related functions as required by Huawei local subsidiary and Huawei Contract & Commerce Dept.
Bachelors degree or higher. Disciplines included: business, finance, international trade, international economics, law, or an MBA etc.
At least 3 years of direct experience in bid preparation (commercial part) and contract review, negotiation and management. Other desired experience would be finance, sales and marketing, legal or commercial management. Working experience in telecom industry is an advantage.
Extremely hard working and dedicated, proactive and detail focused, can work efficiently and effectively under pressure to meet tight deadline. The ability to provide leadership, possessing management skills and the ability to organize, set priorities and handle multiple complex tasks at one time.
Ability to draft legally effective commercial contract terms and excellent written and verbal communications skills in English.
Can use MS Office computer programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
