The role: CMS Central Region - Commercial Manager
PURPOSE OF ROLE : The jobholder will be responsible for managing the Commercial aspects of a large enterprise within Xerox Global Document Outsourcing. This will include supporting the implementation and delivery of the profit plan against the nominated managed account for the role, as well as supporting annuity growth in the account by ensuring all of the Contract site Managers and Operational Managers are fully aware of Accounting Reconciliation processes.


SCOPE OF ROLE: $30m annual recurring revenue; Responsible for reporting accurately in line with Xerox Services Financial Policies, within the agreed Time scale, whilst meeting all KPI’s and Audit requirements.


MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES


• Own the Strategic accounts planning and targeting process to ensure the contract has maximum opportunity to achieve plan in both Revenue and GP.
• To oversee the management of the P&L of the designated contracts ensuring financial strength in P&L delivery and operational effectiveness.
• Work across work streams to maximise P&L opportunity & to minimise identified risks.
• Provide accurate outlooks of P&L performance to the CMS Finance Director on a monthly and as required basis.
• Provide commercial review of designated contracts to ensure “continuing control” in all aspects of contract management and client engagement - ensuring that all contractual obligations and milestones are adhered to and tracked.
• Foster cost awareness and investment payback principles within the account team, encouraging strong decision making and risk & return based decisions.
• Co-ordinate the development and delivery of management information to support account control and P&L.
• Provide expert advice, leadership and coaching regarding commercial recommendations and structural negotiation of contract terms and conditions, business case cost construction and bid management to the Management teams, including delivery of P&L workshops

ESSENTIAL
• Broad understanding of Xerox & Third Party Portfolio solutions
• Customer relationship experience
• Good knowledge of accounting principles
• Good financial knowledge – including p&l management
• Contract negotiation experience
• Significant management accounting / planning experience.
• Experience at implementing strategic objectives across cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with cost construction/ financing and business case justification


DESIRABLE
• Internal or external audit experience.
• Knowledge of various Xerox systems SAP/Cris/OLAS
• Practical knowledge of relevant accounting standards and practices
• Knowledge of CMS portfolio and services


EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION


ESSENTIAL
Degree or similar

• Good verbal and written communication skills/effective listening skills.
• Competent skills in the use of Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint
• Ability to analyse financial information to make sound quality decisions on behalf of the Contract.
