Our client is one of the leaders of the European chemical market, operating in the production, trade, and distribution of chemicals. Due to modernization and investment plan of the manufacturing company based in Romania, our client is seeking to recruit a task oriented professional for the position:
Chief Operating Officer / Management Board Member
Responsibility and scope of duties:
- Restructuring and reorganization leading to material costs savings
- Overall cost opitimization of the plant with particular stress on the following areas: Maintanance, Transportation, Administrative functions and other supporting functions
- Negotiations with Union
- Maintaining good relationship with official environmental bodies
- Managing environmental issues
- Ongoing and efficient cooperation within the structures of Management Board
Professional profile:
- At least 10 years of professional experience
- At least 5 years of experience on managerial positions
- Managerial experience in industry
- Proven track record of achievements in the field of restructuring
- Deep understanding of finance and strategy
- Leadership skills
- Romanian nationality
- Higher education, preferably obtained from technical university
- Working and fluent command of English
- Good and working knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint
- High analytical skills ability to synthesize complex issues
- Readiness to relocate
