ensures that accounting records are prepared and maintained in accordance with local rules and with the company’s accounting policies, chart of accounts and related accounting principles and practices, and that subordinate ledgers reconcile with the general ledger
indicates methods of providing accounting data for various reports and statements where the need doesn’t follow the normal content of accounts
interprets for all decentralized components of the accounting function, the company’s general accounting systems and procedures
directs maintenance of fixed asset records and related depreciation accounts; provides interpretative assistance as to the proper capitalization/expensing of outlays and grouping of fixed assets by class, as well as depreciation methodology
collaborates with management to develop schedules, procedures, and systems to enable the timely and informative accumulation, adjustment, and reporting of financial data
maintains relations with the local consultants and auditors
maintains relations with the corporate function of the company, and processes the KPI and reporting.
At least 3 - 5 years general experience in Accounting
Technical competencies:
very good knowledge of the accounting principles
business processes and company logics knowledge
good knowledge of English, German is a plus
good computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
good knowledge of an ERP software years general experience in Accounting
