Chief Accountant

RESPONSABILITATI

Coordinate the activity of the Accounting team:
- ensure timely performance of accounting entries;
- supervise closing of the books on the Romanian standards;
- review payroll sheet computation and supervise payroll tax returns;
- perform calculation of corporate income tax;
- supervise timely submission of all tax returns;
- perform monthly analysis of accounts and provide explanation for variances;
- provide assistance to other departments, on accounting and tax matters, upon request

Submit the monthly reporting package on IFRS:
- input data into the reporting package;
- prepare and update budget and analyze budget variation;
- manage the cash of the company; prepare cash flow and cash forecast

Represent the company in front of tax authorities:
- assist during the tax controls;
- maintain a pro-active relation with the relevant tax authorities

Responsible for the internal control:
- review and adapt existing procedures; ensure proper implementation of procedures, in all departments;
- take care of SOX controls;
- collaborate with external auditors of the company

Supervise reporting for the sales/logistic channels:
- ensure all sales/purchases are correctly and timely reported;
- coordinate support functions for these activities

Prepares presentations for the board of directors
