- Production of accounts as required by Romanian legislation.
- Preparation of all tax and VAT returns.
- Supervision of all staff employed to assist in production of Romanian accounts and payrolls.
- Advice to the Financial Manager on all matters relating to Romanian accounting issues and legislation.
- Ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance.
Reporting to the Financial Manager you will be a key member of the management team.
Core responsibilities include financial control, liaison with the company’s auditors and tax advisors, tax authorities and banks.
The successful candidate will hold an economic university degree and have at least 5 years experience in a similar position, preferably in the construction industry. Qualification as an expert accountant or certified chartered accountant would be an advantage.
Strong fiscal knowledge and experience is essential.
You will be fluent in English, both oral and written.
