Adecco Human Resources is recruiting for its client, a multinational Italian company, well known in the fashion industry, a Chief Accountant for it's headquarter in Bucharest.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- coordinating and monitoring the accounting department;
- responsible for day to day finance and accounts operations in accordance with the legal stipulations in force;
- perform full set of accounts and ensure timely closing of accounts;
- perform project cost forecasts/budgets, cost tracking, monitoring and controls;
- performing month-end/annual closing according to local and group’s deadline; responsible for timely monthly consolidated financial statements, payments, cash-flow
- management reporting for submission to HQ in Italy;
- develop and maintain internal control and effective accounting system and policies for the set up;
- actively involvement in day-to-day activities of the business;
- complete statutory accounting reports: VAT, Balance sheet, Income statement, cash-flows etc;
- providing analysis based on specific business objectives and actions;
- participating in the improvement of internal policies and procedures;
- continuous update with new legislation and procedures particularly relating to the field of activity.
- university degree in Economics / Accounting / /Finance;
- minimum 5 years relevant experience on a similar position;
- familiarity in IFRS is a must;
- sound knowledge of fiscal legislation
- very good command of English;
- computer literacy;
- SAP knowledge – nice to have;
- very good management & coordination, communication and interpersonal skills; proactive, details oriented, accurate and systematic thinking.
