This is a permanent senior manager role with an International organisation recognised as a leading consulting business in their sector. Your role is to add robust but flexible Project Management expertise into the business at a time of significant growth, change with technology and with business processes. You will enjoy the fast pace of change within this dynamic organisation that have stayed at the forefront of technology including the adoption of a number of SaaS solutions and its continued utilisation and modification. Additionally you should be a credible Business Project Manager able to adapt your experience to deliver across a range of Business and Technology projects as the business is in a dynamic environment. Your pragmatism and flexibility will be fully utilised as will your experience in the following areas: systems deployment and transitioning business change management goals to project management deliverables.
I
t is expected that as a Project manager you will responsible for the planning, management, coordination and financial control of a number of projects.
You will ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget, that the project's objectives are met and that everyone else is doing their job properly. You will oversee projects to ensure the desired results are achieved, the most efficient resources are used and the different interests involved are satisfied. Where needed, project methodology principles are promoted in various teams to ensure that everyone involved is on the same page.

Typical responsibilities include:

- Agreeing project objectives
- Representing the key sponsor’s interests
- Providing advice on the management of projects
- Organising the various professional people across the globe working on a project
- Carrying out risk assessment
- Making sure that all the aims of the project are met
- Making sure the quality standards are met
- Using IT systems to keep track of people and progress
- Ensuring all types specialists and sub-contractors are identified and assigned
- Where needed overseeing the accounting, costing and billing aspects of project
- Create a network of project management agents in business units and provide training to assist with BAU tasks

Qualifications and training required

Formal project management accreditation is a prerequisite as well as a skill and expertise gained on large multinational projects.
