RESPONSABILITATI

The IT Department of Ubisoft is currently seeking a BI Support Team Manager for a team involved in the maintenance and support of our Business Intelligence tools.

Operational activities:

- Coordinates and promotes the effective functioning of support activities on the BI domain
- Organizes staffing according to the support needs in order to meet demand
- Is actively involved in the 3rd level support for Ubisoft's internal BI tools (Data Warehouse, Hyperion Financial Suite, Reporting tools, etc) and provides technical assistance for support requests
- Ensures a good relationship with the client by organizing regular meetings regarding support cases monitoring and handles all demands escalated by the client
- Identifies long-term solutions and proposes the most suitable alternatives
- Provides expert guidance to the team and assists in their training and knowledge development
- Develops and monitors quality and quantity performance indicators for the services provided in order to meet the objectives, permanently seeking improvement of these objectives
- Implements and reviews support policies, procedures and standards and monitors that they are respected

Management activities:
– Sets performance objectives to collaborators by ensuring the necessary methods and performing the appraisal process
– Proposes and implements improvement methods for task organization within the team or for IT internal processes.
– Manages possible conflicts within the team, forwards the alerts to IT Management or/ and to the domain management, when necessary
– Ensures the administrative monitoring of the team (absence planning and validation, business trips planning, monitoring and validation of time sheets)
– Is involved in the recruitment of new personnel
– Coaches, motivates and retains the staff


CERINTE

- University graduate in IT and proven experience in the BI domain
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar management position
- Minimum 3 years of experience in BI
- Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server including writing SQL and stored procedures code
- Good understanding of the IT domain, including applications, networks and systems and the processes required to successfully support them
- Excellent English skills, French is a strong advantage
- Strong customer care orientation
- Excellent communication skills, ability to effectively interact with clients and all levels of the organization
- Process oriented and able to develop and document work flow processes
- Enthusiastic, results-oriented, capable of starting and managing a support team
- Creative / innovative: suggests system improvements and offers alternative solutions to the different problems that may appear
- Easily adaptable to changes
- Experience with other reporting and analytic presentation tools and technologies such as Business Objects XI, Hyperion tools is an advantage
- Experience on business analysis and project management is an advantage
