Your role inside our team:
In the context of expanding our IT research and development activity, we are searching for a Business Analyst who will be an important asset in our innovation laboratory – PentaLabbs (http://www.pentalabbs.com/) a good-experienced person with a genuine curiosity and an open minded attitude towards what is new in this field.
As a Business Analyst, your mission will be to link the business needs and the IT constraints in order to organize the activity in a fluent, efficient and transparent way.
You will be entrusted with activities that can sustain the core mission of our department: constant innovation at all levels. Your main focus in this job will be on different activities, such as:
- Formulate requirements using all kind of meetings (interviews, requirements workshops), document analysis, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis.
- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts.
- Communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze their business needs and functional requirements.
- Work independently with users to define concepts and under the direction of project managers.
- Act as a real connector between the customer community (internal and external customers) and the software development team through which requirements flow.
- Document and organize the requirements into functional specifications according to standard templates, using natural language, and communicate them to the IT development team.
- Discuss with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.
- Closely collaborating with the entire IT team and assist them in reviews of a deliverable, completing test documentation and defining the implementation plan.
- Promote the needed changes when necessary by discussing the benefits with both business & IT teams.
- Identify risks, issues and solutions in order to successfully realize an application development project.
- Ensure that the output quality standards are being maintained; ensure traceability between business requirements and final solutions.

Our requirements:
In order to be considered for the position of Business Analyst, the following requirements are a must-have:
- Previous experience as a business analyst;
- Strong analytical and product management skills;
- A thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements;
- Excellent organization and teamwork;
- Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude required;
- Adventurous spirit willing to be involved in leveraging high-potential start-ups;
- Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science / Economic Cybernetics, Statistics and Informatics or a related technical field required;
- A general business background;
- Fluency in French and English.

Grupul Pentalog a realizat in 2007 o crestere interna de 67% si o cifra de afaceri de 5,5M?. La inceputul anului 2008, echipa Pentalog numara deja 200 de persoane.
Datorita acestor indicatori pozitivi, preconizam pentru 2008 crearea a numeroase noi posturi in toate agentiile noastre din Romania si Republica Moldova, o crestere de 40% din efectivul actual.
