Under the responsibility of the Project Account Manager your role as BI Development team lead is to:
Work closely to project manager to help define priorities, build project plan and estimations;
Work closely with the data architect to define the global BI design;
Guide the Data Warehouse development team:
- aligns with the developers on the global technical solution for the development and validates the detailed technical analysis performed by the developers;
- assign and follow up of development tasks;
- conciliates developers on their approach – confirming if they are on the good track and gives hints about possible improvements.
Design, develop and maintain ETL jobs and related data warehouse models/objects/systems;
Work closely with other application developers and administrators to streamline data flows between internal/external systems and the data warehouse;
Good understanding of user requirements and functional specifications.
University diploma in IT related field or proven experience on BI;
More than 5 years of experience on BI developments;
More than 4 years of experience on designing and developing Data Warehouse solutions on SQL Server and SSIS;
Developing ETL processes with Data from various sources: SQL Server, Oracle, Online contents;
Good communications skills in English (spoken and written).
Nice to have :
Experience in managing development teams/ technical project manager;
Experience with other reporting and analytic presentation tools and technologies such as Business Objects XI, Cognos, ProClarity, Microstrategy;
Experience on business analysis and project Management;
Good communications skills in French (spoken and written).
