Audit Internships in Bucharest and Timisoara

CERINTE

Our internships provide Master students with an opportunity to experience work and life at PwC, offering a valuable insight into our business and culture.

They are designed to give you a real-life view of what a graduate career in audit with PwC would be like. You'll be able to learn first hand if this is the career for you. If it is, and you perform well, you may return to your degree with an offer of a job for when you graduate.

Beyond this, our aim is to raise both your commercial awareness and your interpersonal skills to new levels. By experiencing life inside the world's leading professional services firm, you will develop many new skills and qualities that will be valuable for your future career, whatever you choose to do.

Note that the internships are full-time. You will be able to sit all your exams at university. As for attending courses and seminars, our flexibility is subject to the client engagements you will be assigned to.

The Role

Auditors check companies' accounts, using our innovative auditing methodology, and give assurance to stockholdersthat the financial statements are true and correct. They also provide accounting advice with regard to Romanianaccounting principles, International Financial Reporting Standards, and other accounting systems.

As an intern, you'll be treated in much the same way as our regular graduate new joiner. During your time with us, you will be exposed to a wide range of work and clients, and will be expected to make a valuable contribution throughout.

If that sounds too challenging, don't worry: you won't be thrown in at the deep end straightaway. Your program will start with an in-depth training program, which will provide both general and specific technical training, designed to give you all the skills you'll need to fulfill your responsibilities.

It will prove a steep learning curve and you may feel stretched at times, but we'll provide all the support you need. For instance, you will have a Buddy to answer your questions and to help with your development. You'll also receive regular feedback on your performance.

Who are the internships for?

If you are in the last two years of your degree, then you have the opportunity to join us as an intern. It doesn't matter if you feel that you're not studying for a 'relevant' degree - the vast majority of our business areas accept students from any discipline.

You will, however, need to show how you've used your initiative and team-working skills during university. We'll also expect you to have done plenty of research into the audit business area, demonstrating a genuine commitment to this career path.

We are also looking for:

Ability to work in a team environment and a hardworking approach.
Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Internet).
Proficiency in English (fluency in French or German would be an asset).
Motivation for professional development and a genuine desire to develop skills.
Availability to travel

Other information

The internships will start in December 2012 and will last till the end of March 2013.

The application deadline is 2 November 2012.

IMPORTANT NOTE: You must know that the first stage of the application process is submitting the application form and taking 2 online tests: Numerical Reasoning and Logical Reasoning. These tests are an important part of your application, and will help us to get a better understanding of your skills and competencies. You should ensure that you have about 60 minutes available to complete both tests and ensure, as much as possible, that you will not be interrupted or disturbed (you may need some rough paper and a calculator to hand to answer the questions). You can complete it later by log in to your account. You will be given the opportunity to read instructions and take a practice test before taking the real test.

Please note that only complete applications will be considered, so please make sure th
