System Administration
• Server configuration, monitoring, and maintenance;
• Monitoring of system resources with Network services and administration tools;
• Security settings configuration inside applications and SQL cubes.
Software management:
• coordinate and perform application upgrades and installations;
• assist users with system testing;
• configure and maintain application processes;
• configure and automate system, application backups;
• perform restores of applications as needed;
• offer support for administered applications.
Documentation:
• software configurations, downtime/availability, incident reports, problem/resolution, procedures, scripts, resource usage, disaster recovery procedures for applications, etc.
The IT Department of Ubisoft Romania is looking for an Application System Administrator.
Your challenge will be to perform system administration functions and application support primarily on PeopleSoft ERP system, but also on other systems as assigned. You will provide high quality system and technical services to clients and you will work on different platforms of OS and environments.
Your profile:
Essential skills:
• University graduate
• Work experience of at least three years in a similar position
• Good SQL and SQL 2005/2008 Server knowledge
• Knowledge of systems concepts and technologies for Windows, Linux platforms.
• Advanced English language skills; French is a plus
Desirable personal skills:
• Ability to act both as a project lead and a team member on small to large scale projects
• Strong verbal/written communication, documentation, organizational, analytical and troubleshooting skills are a must
• Customer focused and team player attitude
