Administers banking applications by performing second level support, software maintenance and setup; perform complex investigations; resolve errors or suggest software fixes to development teams or software providers;
Configures application parameters based on change management procedures;
Works with software providers, in-house development teams and infrastructure teams to ensure proper operation and business use of applications according to service level agreements;
Reports critical incidents to business lines and/or direct line;
Performs bug fix testing or periodic testing required by software upgrades or standard system patching;
Provides assistance and training to IT support staff
Required background:
University Degree in Computer Science/ Cybernetics or similar;
At least 2 years of experience in managing IT applications in a financial institution;
Required competences:
Knowledge of best practices in the area of IT banking software applications and systems administration;
Strong knowledge about banking software and good knowledge of software technologies;
Strong personality, able to work under pressure, good team spirit;
Good collaboration skills, solution oriented, supportive attitude;
Open minded, proactive and motivated;
Courses and certifications on the area of it service delivery.
Good knowledge of databases systems (Microsoft and Oracle) is an asset.
