RESPONSABILITATI

• Supporting the IBX On-Demand Platform consisting in a mix of several client-server applications.

• Writing operational documentation and keeping it up to date;

• Acting as part of the support organisation according to ITIL best practices: Incident Management, Problem Management and Change Management

• Involved in daily-basis installation, integration, configuration and documentation of applications on the test environments;

• Continually updating technical knowledge and skills by attending in-house and/or external courses, reading manuals and internet research


CERINTE

We are looking for an IT focussed, support oriented colleague with strong experience in Applications Operations.
You will work in a team of centralised support based on ITIL methodology in the department of Application Operations (AO). You will support the current and enable the delivery of the new functionalities in our forward-looking Technology based on our Product Management agreed roadmap aligned with our IT Strategy. You will also have an active role in the preparation for production and delivery of new features, according to the AGILE methodology.

• Fluency in English, both written and verbal, good communication skills;

• Pro-active and can-do attitude combined with the will and capacity of learning new technologies;

• General application troubleshooting methodology;

• Experience in medium-to-large support organization using ticketing

• Windows Server fundamentals (Install/Configure, Memory, Swap, Partitioning, Filesystem, etc)

• Experience in Jboss administration, IIS administration, Tomcat administration

• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server (Operational competence it is a must, DBA competence it is a merit)

• Experience in using a Monitoring Tool (preferably Microsoft Operations Manager, but Nagios, Foglight or other are relevant too)

• Experience in automating repetitive tasks with shell scripting
