Responsibilities:
In this position you will manage and guide a large team of concept, design and layout engineers responsible for development of integrated circuits used in automotive body power applications.
Management of R&D team:
•Overall team responsibility = development of team spirit, contribution to performance management
•Performance / execution of the team
•Methodology and skill development
•Delivery (quality, timeline, efficiency) of specific development work packages according to group’s skills/functions
Major Tasks and Activities:
•Planning and commitment of resources and deliveries for projects: schedule, budget, quality.
•Management of resources: Technical competence of employees / motivation of employees / performance review of employees
•Recruiting, outsourcing management
•Coaching of new employees
•Improvement of the development process.
•Technical interface to internal development groups and project management
•Technical interface to external development partners (technology development/ product lines/ business lines)
Education:
•Must be University Graduate;
•Major in Electronics/ Focus on microelectronics would be appreciated;
Experience / Knowledge:
This job is suitable for experienced applicants with hands on experience in IC design, modeling and verification/qualification of analog/mixed-signal products and good understanding of semiconductor device physics.
Required:
•Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills
•Excellent scheduling, budgeting, resource loading, and overall planning skills
•Experience/ Basic knowledge of project management;
•Strong communication skills with regard to cross-functional and multicultural teams;
•Strong skills of organization, planning and tracking / controlling;
•Knowledge of semiconductor product development flow
Other requirements / Foreign Languages:
•Must be fluent in English language;
•Conversational use of German language is highly appreciated;
