Key analog design team member who is an active participant in definition, design, simulation, analysis, optimization and validation of analog circuitry for 8-bit mixed signal microcontrollers and NVM products.
Degree in Electronics required with course emphasis on microelectronics and analog circuit design on silicon. Advanced degree preferred.
Successful candidate will have outstanding academic accomplishment, expertise in using unix based systems, solid understanding of analog circuit design for low power circuits, and 0-3 years experience in the above with training in state of the art VLSI CAD tools.
Strongly prefer that successful candidate have experience using transistor level simulators such as hspice or hsim and working knowledge of semiconductor device physics, transistor characteristics, and associated layout considerations.
Mixed signal / microprocessor / microcontroller / memory design experience is a plus.
Must be able to work effectively in cross functional team environment, while having a clear individual emphasis and expertise in circuit design.
Successful candidate must have good communication skills in writing and speaking English, and also be an excellent decision maker, able to take the information at hand and consistently make decisions that expedite the goals of the project.

Microchip opened the R&D Center located in Bucharest in April 2006 and has been constantly expanding it.
The center deals with new product design and applications development for microcontrollers, analog and memory circuits.
