On behalf of one of our clients, a renowned media and advertising company, we are looking for an accounting analyst for recording financial transactions, accounting reporting and assistance with the reporting package of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares / assists with the accurate and timely submission of regular financial statements as per instructions received from the Finance Manager;
- Uses various software applications, such as spreadsheets, statistical packages, and graphics packages to assemble, manipulate and/or format data and/or reports;
- Records, classifies, and summarizes financial transactions and events in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles;
- Assists in the analysis of financial data and extracts and defines relevant information;
- Assists in preparation of reporting package of the company;
- Offers support to the Finance Department.
- Min. 1 year on-the-job accounting experience
- University graduate - Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field;
- One year related financial experience required. Additional education may be substituted for some experience;
- Proficiency in the use of software applications, databases, spreadsheets, and/or word processing required;
- Fluent English;
- Details oriented, analytical mind, very organized.
