1. Accountable for standard operations and administration of service platforms
- Real time analysis of faults and customer tickets, drive corrective actions in accordance with customer impact;
- Initiates escalation process in case of detected service or performance degradation;
- Perform and drive preventative maintenance;
- Issue procedure.
2. Accountable for platform QoF (Quality of functioning)
- Differed time analysis monitor platform activity and trigger corrective actions;
- Monitor performance parameters for services and platforms.
3. Contribution to the launch of new services
- Bringing into operations, checking current operations, platform configuration.
Our client, Leading Telecom Company is creating in Romania a new department to ensure optimum quality services in networks Mobile & Internet. In their expanding team of professionals a key role will be held by the Support Application Expert.
The successful candidate should be highly motivated with a proven record of IT and Telcom exposure. Experience in network operations, planning and organization skills, and quality reflex are important assets and are considerate key indicators for your future performance in this role.
Technical Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of one of the following O.S: Unix, Linux;
- Experienced with Web based applications- Apache;
- University Degree preferably in a technical or telecom field;
- 1 to 3 years experience in an operational IT or Telecom environment.
Knowledge of:
- Scripting languages (KSH, PERL);
- Was and Database management (Oracle, MySql);
- Experience with monitoring tools (HPOpenView, Patrol);
- HTL, XML, Java exposure would be an advantage as well as hands on experience with virtualization systems.
Other requirements:
- Excellent English communication skills;
- Diplomacy, costumer and team oriented attitude as well as general adaptability are highly valued.
