We are looking for a web designer who is responsible for creating pages for existing or new websites. This includes the design and layout according to the client's specifications, working on a brand new website or updating an already existing site.
Responsibilities:
• creating web site designs
• producing sample sites
• demonstrating and receiving feedback about draft sites
• keeping up-to-date with recent technological and software developments
• producing designs that are user-friendly, effective and appealing
• working as part of a team
• there can be some pressure to meet deadlines when extra hours may be required
• designing sample page layouts including text size and colors
• designing graphics and manipulating digital photographs
• designing the website's visual imagery and ensuring it's in line with company branding policy or the requirements of the client
• proofreading content and making changes where necessary
• editing content and re-designing web pages
• working with other web specialists including web developers
• researching current design trends
• continual professional development to keep up to date with new software developments.
