Requirements analysis for software project/product development
o Develop formal functional/non-functional requirements and technical specifications
o Discuss with project/product stakeholders/customers in order to gather and clarify requirements and specifications
o Make sure the developed functional requirements and technical specifications are clear and complete
o Having a deep and full understanding of the functionalities of the products in your area of expertise
Technical solution validation
o Interact with the technical team in order to make sure the technical solution matches the requirements and specifications
o Interact with the testing team in order to make sure the tests cover and match the requirements and specifications
Change management
o As part of the Change Control Board of the project, make sure that changes in requirements or specifications are handled properly, according to company change management procedures
Requirements gathering (functional and non-functional)
Ability to describe, analyse and validate the system architecture across a number of technologies (e.g. based on Java, C/C++, databases), platforms (e.g. Linux, Unix) and network protocols
Excellent understanding of architectural dependencies and of technologies used
Ability to learn new technologies quickly in order to develop technical specifications
Knowledge of specific telecom protocols and technologies is a plus.
