Our client is a multinational company active in design, development, production and support for electronic and mechatronic systems. For the Romanian subsidiary of the company we are looking for a:
Supplier Quality Engineer based in Brasov county.
As Supplier Quality Engineer you ensure the follow-up and the improvement of the supplier quality through selection, evaluation, auditing and steering of the suppliers and through the use of quality methodology. Help to improve the quality management system:
Tasks and responsibilities:
Assessing, selecting, steering and evaluating suppliers so that the quality of the delivered materials meet the requirements and improve continuously. Carrying out audits at the supplier;
Assessing and evaluating delivered materials of the suppliers and deciding what happens with non-conform materials. Ensuring that the extra costs stay low;
Taking corrective and preventive actions towards quality. Following up of internal and external complaints within the determined period of time;
Taking up operational responsibility for the outgoing quality control and the customer return process;
Steering, coaching, informing and following up the Quality Inspectors, so they can function in an optimal way as a team and so their work continuously improves;
Helping to maintain and improve the global quality management system and to promote the use of agreed procedures;
As organizer and member of the ISO auditors team, supporting the quality management system through frequently organized audits in the entire organization;
Collecting, managing and reporting quality data;
Acting as the quality expert through excellence in education, training, the quality tool set and continuous improvement.
Master degree in Mechatronical or Electromechanical Engineering or equivalent;
At least 1 year of working experience in the related field;
Fluent in English;
Good teamwork and communication skills;
Coaching skills;
Project management skills;
Strong analytical skills.
