We are building a large team of ABAP developers from scratch and for this purpose we are offering free ABAP trainings witch will help you to get there.
You will be a member of the ishMED development team.
The ishMed product is a HIS (Hospital Information System) developed by Siemens based on SAP Framework.
This product addresses to a large number of European customers, most of them from Germany..
The ishMED codebase is distributed with the core SAP framework (if the customer opts for the patient management module of SAP - I.S.H). The development of Siemens ishMED product is partially done directly on the SAP development environments in Waldorf.
The system is being further developed and for this purpose a new development location is to be established in Brasov, Romania.
Developers in Brasov will work closely with the teams already established in Germany and Austria.
If you want to become an ABAP developer and you convince us that you have the skills described above, then you will participate in a series of ABAP trainings that will last for approximately 1 months. After this series of trainings there will be an additional month of training where you will learn about the IS-H SAP module and about the product we are developing, ishMED.
These trainings will take place in Brasov.
The period of training on-the-job in Germany/Austria will follow the initial 2 months of training described above.
In order to qualify you need to meet the following prerequisites:
Technical skills
-Solid knowledge of OOP and UML
-Experience in at least one development language (C++, Java, .NET, PHP)
-Good knowledge of relational databases (SQL syntax, stored procedures, transactions, isolation levels, locking strategies)
Interpersonal skills
-Ability to work in a team
-Quick learner
-Flexibility
-Self-motivated
-Reliable
Language skills
-Good German (this is a big advantage for you) and/or excellent English
Travel
-In the ramp up phase you have to be available for a 3-month stay in Germany/Austria for an on-the-job training. After this 3 month period you will work in Brasov, Romania
