The context of the job :
Our partner is an European leader in various online tourism services (trips, cruise, hotels, airplane tickets, etc.) The sites developed and maintained by our Pentalog dedicated IT specialists, add-up over 70 millions visualizations and 5 millions unique visitors each month.
This dedicated team you will join, has currently 17 members: a Project Manager, 2 Java Architects, 10 Java/J2EE Developers, a Business Intelligence Specialist, 2 Testers and a Webmaster.
Your job is to integrate multimedia modules, JavaScript and Ajax development in the pages of our customer’s websites, to create new website designs, to translate static design into static pages that will further be implemented by the web developers of the team. You will also work on continuously improving the websites load.
Independent and rigorous, you will be directly communicating with different client interlocutors in order to obtain the necessary specifications for the assigned tasks and to provide regular progress reports.

What it takes to join us as a talented JavaScript/JQuery Developer:
- A responsible attitude and ambition in achieving your mission: to ensure a high quality content and a proper function of all the sites that the company is managing;
- Solid technical background experience (minimum 2-3 years) with HTML, CSS, advanced JavaScript and JQuery;
- A clear image and very good understanding of the differences between different browsers is mandatory;
- High autonomy translated in the capacity of taking decisions and finding the best solutions;
- Previous experience with any Ajax framework is a strong advantage;
- Knowledge of Freemarker would be appreciated;
- A degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent qualification from previous collaborations;
- Very good level of English (both spoken and written), French would be a significant plus;
- Source control and bug tracking tools are common companions during your work;
- Any previous experience with Photoshop, Flash or other graphic technologies will help you in this job.

In prezent sunt in desfasurare peste 70 de proiecte in arii de activitate diverse. Sustinerea activitatilor de inovare in tehnologii informationale a fost concretizata prin crearea PentaLabbs, primul incubator privat franco-roman, complet operational din 2011. Pentalabbs asociaza excelentei tehnologice excelenta business, in cadrul unui demers pilotat de catre adevarati experti, actionand ca un multiplicator al fortei, vitezei si determinarii cu care ideile inovante pot fi dezvoltate, cu scopul de a concretiza produsele si serviciile IT de maine.

In contextul unui obiectiv de ameliorare continua, Pentalog acorda o atentie deosebita activitatilor de formare interna (atat cu formator interni cat si externi), cat si integrarii de stagiari, in cadrul programelor de parteneriat cu universitatile de prestigiu. Aceste activitati sunt grupate in cadrul departamentului numit Pepiniera Pentalog.
Programul de stagii se adreseaza studentilor in anii terminali care doresc sa acumuleze o prima experienţa tehnica, cat si tinerilor absolventi care incep cariera profesionala si beneficiaza de cursuri de formare profesionala specifice.
In 2011, bugetul alocat pentru activitatile Pepinierei a fost la nivelul de 1 mil euro, numarul de zile de formare efectuate in 2011 inregistrand o crestere importanta de 58% fata de anul anterior.
