OBJECTIVES:
1. Manage day-to-day Production activities and people (120 in the final)
2. Elaborate and implement Yearly Action Plan for UAP – improvements objective
3. Participate in General Action Plan (being part of project teams)
RESPONSABILITIES
- analyze, plan, direct, and coordinate the production activities
- planning the plant’s resources to meet the production goals
- manage overtime or extra shifts if necessary
- oversee the production process, reducing costs wherever possible and making sure products are produced on time and are of good quality
- monitor the production run to make sure that it stays on schedule and correct
- make sure that production proceeds smoothly and stays within budget
- assure technical transfer of the production projects
- partially to come up with ways to make the production process more efficient
- monitor product standards and implement quality control programs
- emphasize continuous quality improvement programs ISO 9000, TQM
- implement training programs
- work closely with the other managers to implement the company’s policies and goals
- work with the financial departments in order to respect the budget and plan
- work most closely with the heads of sales, procurement, and logistics
- must follow health and safety practices, clothing and equipment
- meeting with subordinates or other department managers, analyzing production data, and writing and reviewing reports
- may work late shifts or at any hour to deal with emergencies, resolve problems
- scheduling, planning and coordination production tasks with others departments
- work closely with the “continuous improvement” engineer to implement the production improvement system; TPM, 5S etc.
REQUIREMENTS
- degree in industrial engineering
- related work experience as coordinator
- courses of production management/industrial management - advantange
- PC savvy: MS Office, Production Software, E-mail
- ability to dealing with stress / pressure of production deadlines or emergency
- knowledge of quality and management systems
- excellent communication skills
- responsible, flexible, and eager to enhance their knowledge and skills through
- French compulsory (at least medium level), English is a plus but not compulsory
