Area of activity/Responsibility:
- Supporting the General Manager in establishing a viable business
- Creating and managing systems that deliver relevant, accurate and timely management information
- Custodian of accounting standards
- Ensuring compliance with internal and external reporting standards
- Preparing annual budget plans; ensuring an effective cash management
- Reviewing company business results, identification of potential problem areas, developing proposals for improvement
- Assessing commercial and financial justification for capital investment proposals
- Preparing statutory reports under IFRS and tax declarations
- Developing internal controls and operating procedures
- Developing and implementing IT applications incl. ERP systems (Navision)
- Responsible for overall credit management, managing of credit risk
- Guiding, managing, developing and controlling subordinated staff and business units
- University degree in Controlling/Accounting/Finance
- Several years of experience in an international manufacturing company
- Solid knowledge of financial and operating practices
- Sound knowledge of business investment appraisals
- Knowledge of statutory regulations within Romania
- Good written and spoken English skills
- Sound appreciation of business IT requirements
