OBJECTIVES
1. Responsible for driving the Continuous Improvement CI methodology and strategy throughout the company.
2. Function as a change agent, tool mentor, coach, facilitator and project manager for business leaders, engineers and associates.
2. Lead, manage, and initiate high impact projects using CI methodology or other related process improvement.
RESPONSABILITIES
- implement continuous improvement from conception through implementation
- manage projects in manufacturing area as part of the lean team to reduce waste and improve workflow
- organize, plan, facilitate and report out on scheduled lean events
- guide, train and monitor CI activities in manufacturing work areas
- lead process improvement teams to meet organizational goals
- support operational excellence through shared involvement in practices and procedures
- monitor and track improvements made in the company
- prove active design, leadership, and advocacy of a continuous improvement culture
- perform the necessary company improvement system plant audits
- develops metrics/assessment tools to understand the overall performance of the organization and its teams.
- develop and lead strong working relationships with cross functional management and team members, identify and document core organizational processes, develop and execute process
- identify continuous/potential process improvement opportunities
- participates with other senior managers to establish strategic plans and objectives
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors Degree in a technical field;
- 3-5 years in a manufacturing/assembly environment;
- practical project management and problem solving skills
- ability to read, analyze, interpret and report various data.
- knowledge and experience with CI Tools: 5S, Six Sigma, TPM, Continuous Flow, Value Stream Mapping, etc.
- quality improvement tools and techniques, including management and planning tools, preventive and corrective actions
- knowledge of manufacturing processes is a plus
- knowledge of methods, tools, standards, organizational and team dynamics, training
- PC Skills – Ms Office, Project management skills
- ability develop good relationships and to foster teamwork throughout the organization
- effective communication skills; communicate at all levels with equal balance between listening and talking.
- ability to effectively present information to top management and groups
- French compulsory (at least intermediate)
Competitive Compensation package
